Estimated numbers of young people in nursing homes

The small number of residents in some areas (below) makes them potentially identifiable. The Department of Health and Ageing has supressed some of these figures to protect the privacy of the individuals concerned (figures from 2004 onwards).

Young people in residential aged care (permanent) as at 30 June 2010.

X denotes cells which contained small cell size numbers (1-5) which makes individuals potentially identifiable.

These figures have been removed and replaced with an X to protect the confidentiality of these individuals. Figures replaced by an X have been excluded from the Australia Age Group totals and Under 65 totals for each State and Territory.

Please note: The figures in the following table are a combination of non-Indigenous and Indigenous people.
