JOHN HAS Multiple Sclerosis and until a year ago, lived in his own apartment and received support in his own home. He went into hospital for a reassessment and underwent surgery.

Recovery from this surgery compromised his MS and by the time he was ready to return home, he needed more care to live alone.

That care was not available and John was subsequently sent to an aged care nursing home.

John used to run a community radio program and wants to get back to doing what he does best.

But he can’t do this in an aged care facility.
